The present invention relates to a virtual tollbooth-based automatic toll collection system using a smart phone, in which authentication is performed using a USIM installed in the smart phone, to improve security and achieve a convenient fee payment. The present invention implements a virtual tollbooth-based automatic toll collection system using a smart phone, the system comprising: a system of the Korea Highway Corporation for transmitting virtual tollbooth location information, performing authentication on the basis of USIM information of a toll payment terminal, processing a toll payment through a network with the toll payment terminal after the authentication, and controlling processing of an unpaid toll; and a toll payment terminal for determining a virtual tollbooth on the basis of the virtual tollbooth location information transmitted from the system of the Korea Highway Corporation and current location information, accessing the system of the Korea Highway Corporation to request authentication on the basis of information of the USIM at the time of passing through the virtual tollbooth, calculating the toll if the authentication is normally made, and processing a toll charge. |
