Thermoplastic material based on a cellulose ester contains the alcohol of an unsaturated fatty acid as plasticizer. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) containers of this material for cosmetics; (2) containers filled with a cosmetic formulation, where the containers are made from this material and contain a plasticizer that is a constituent of the formulation.
