PURPOSE: A process for preparing antibiotic bristles for hair brush containing silica combined with silver particles is provided which emits negative ions and far infrared rays that are beneficial in various aspects, including deodorization, an anti-static effect, an antibiotic effect, and so on. CONSTITUTION: The process for preparing antibiotic bristles for a hair brush comprises: compounding nylon-based resin chips having a diameter in the range of 2 to 3 mm and silver-containing silica chips having a diameter in the range of 2 to 3 mm in a weight ratio of 9:1; applying the compound to an extruder for mixing with heating at temperature of 250 to 300 deg.C, followed by causing the resultant product to pass through a dice having pores with a wire diameter of 1.5 mm; elongating the product in predetermined elongation ratios using a heating chamber until a desired size is acquired; and annealing the elongated product, binding the same into an appropriate size, cutting and packing.
