PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for efficiently preventing abrasion of inner plate of manifold due to direct collision with coal and smoothly guiding discharge of foreign materials, thereby preventing damage of inner steam tubes to extend service life of cylindrical rotary dryer for coal moisture control process, improve workability and reduce replacement of parts and generation of expenses. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus(1) for preventing abrasion of plate of manifold in a dryer for coal moisture control process that dries raw coal and preventing damage of steam tubes(120) due to foreign materials of raw coal, the apparatus comprises a plate cover means(10) installed on the front of the manifold plate to prevent abrasion of the plate due to contact of raw coal with the plate; a raw coal removing means(30) installed on the front of the plate cover means to smoothly discharge raw coal by preventing raw coal from concentrating on the manifold side; and a raw coal guiding means(70) comprising a first guiding member(50) installed next to the raw coal removing means on the front of the plate cover means and a second guiding member(60) installed at the center of the plate cover means to guide raw coal dropped by the raw coal removing means to the first guiding member.
