<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a control circuit of a display which allows the circuit scale and the power consumption and so on of the circuit to be reduced, although it can control the display so that videos transmitted with video signals encoded by individual encoding methods can be displayed in high quality. <P>SOLUTION: When the video signals encoded by encoding methods for TV broadcasting are input to the control circuit of the display, in each of the programmable logic ICs 31 and 32, a decoder circuit 53a for the video signals and a driver control circuit 62a for driving the display by impulse driving are formed by one of program sets stored in accordance with the individual coding methods. Meanwhile when video signals encoded by encoding methods for computer image transmission are input, the program sets are switched to form a decoder circuit 53b of the video signals and a driver control circuit 62b for driving the display by a hold drive. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
