PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery capable of avoiding or reducing inconvenience which may be caused by adding W, while securing an effect obtained thereby.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which includes a positive electrode including a positive electrode mixture layer formed on a positive electrode collector. In the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, the positive electrode mixture layer includes a positive electrode material containing tungsten (W) and a positive electrode material containing no W, as a positive electrode active material. The positive electrode material containing W is unevenly distributed on a side of the positive electrode collector in the positive electrode mixture layer. |
