The orifice plate (9) has a fastening device for detachably fastening the plate at an outer wall (6) of an exhaust hood (1), where the fastening device is connected with the plate. The fastening device has a locking device, which is attached with a retaining device (8) provided to the hood. A frame (11) is provided at an edge of the plate, and the fastening device is provided in proximity of an opening (10) of the plate. The fastening device includes a magnet or a magnetic component and is provided at back of the plate.
