<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device which can efficiently print a print job in which two or more toner colors are intermixed in a highlight color printing, and an image processing method. <P>SOLUTION: In the image processing device, a printing judgement means 9 judges whether the color is in agreement with the mounting color of an image formation device when recognizing that the color other than a black one has been used for image data. The printing judgement means 9 performs such judgement that the printing of the image data is to be permitted when the color has been judged to be in agreement with the mounting color and the printing of the image data is to be suspended when the color has been judged to be not in agreement with the mounting color.
