PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insert for a deck plate offering high shear force and high bonding force between an outer tube part and an insert body.SOLUTION: An insert for a deck plate includes: an outer tube part 2 inserted into and fitted on an open hole through the deck plate, the outer tube part having a protruded piece 21; an insert body 3 having a female screw part 31 and a flange part 32 formed thereon, the insert body being press-fit on the outer tube part; a washer member 4 in contact with a top surface of the deck plate; and a spring member 5 pressing the washer member against the top surface of the deck plate. In a configuration that may be hung by screwing a hanging bolt into the female screw part, an engaging groove 33 is formed on an outer peripheral surface of the insert body, an engaging protrusive streak is formed on an inner peripheral surface of the outer tube part, to be fitted in the engaging groove, thus engaging and fixing the outer tube part with the insert body. The engaging groove includes an inclined and stepped surface and a vertical stepped surface, where the inclined and stepped surface is formed on an upper part of the insert body and the vertical stepped surface is formed on a lower part of the insert body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
