<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming system capable of easily removing a transfer material having no post-processing thereto performed with a post-processing means without causing a conveying failure. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming system is equipped with an image forming means 22 for performing an image forming for the transfer material, a post-processing means (staple processing tray) F for applying the post-processing for the transfer material after image forming, a loading number counting means 301 for counting the number of sheets of the transfer material loaded on the staple processing tray F, and a conveying means for conveying the transfer material (an entrance roller 1, respective conveying rollers 2, 7, 9, 10, and a staple paper discharge roller 11). When the number of sheets counted obtained by the loading number counting means 301 exceeds a predetermined value, or a thickness over means 93 detects that it exceeds a predetermined thickness, the image forming operation is stopped. When the transfer material remains in the conveying route, the remaining transfer material is conveyed to the staple processing tray F and the transfer material in the staple processing tray F can be removed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
