PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid droplet ejector which can cool the periphery of a liquid droplet ejection head by utilizing a coolant. SOLUTION: The liquid droplet ejector 1 is equipped with a recording liquid supply course which supplies a recording liquid to the liquid droplet ejection head, a gas discharge channel which communicates with the recording liquid supply course, a first gas permeation film which is formed to partition a recording liquid channel and the gas discharge channel from each other at a communication part between the recording liquid channel and the gas discharge channel and which is permeable to only a gas, and a negative pressure applying means 14 which applies a negative pressure into the gas discharge channel. The liquid droplet ejector 1 has both a coolant tank 12 which stores the coolant for cooling the liquid droplet ejection head and a coolant channel with an inlet and an outlet prepared on a carriage. The coolant channel is constituted to communicate with the gas discharge channel. A second gas permeation film which is permeable to only the gas is formed at a communication part between the coolant channel and the gas discharge channel to partition the coolant channel and the gas discharge channel from each other.
