PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when uniform appearance processing is applied to the whole frame image of a moving image, the feature amount for each object cannot be taken into consideration and a proper processing result cannot be obtained. SOLUTION: When playing back a moving image including a plurality of time-divided frame images, feature amount for each object is acquired in the frame image in interest in the plurality of the frame images (S802). Then, an object low-pass image for color conversion is created in according with the object feature amount (S803), and the created image is reflected on a background frame low-pass image (S804). The appearance processing is executed using the frame low-pass image, and thus, color conversion based on the feature amount per object image can be executed for a frame image in interest.
