PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector and a method to attach at a stable position on a substrate.SOLUTION: A terminal acceptance recess 32 extends from a bottom wall 22 of a connector 10. A terminal 14 is disposed in the terminal acceptance recess 32. The terminal 14 includes: a stationary part 42 to fix the terminal 14 to the terminal acceptance recess 32; and a substrate fitting part 46 extending in a direction apart from a bottom wall 22 of a housing 12. At least one stabilization member 50, extending from the bottom wall 22 of the housing 12, is removable between a first position and a second position. When positioned in the first position, the stabilization member maintains the connector 10 in a stable position to the substrate, to engage with the substrate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
