PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a rise in a starting current to be fed to a motor at an initial time of control initiation while feeding a current to the motor in a fully conducting state after control of an automatic brake is initiated.SOLUTION: By controlling a motor in a fully conducting state, the motor has its output raised high. While a high braking force is obtained with high responsiveness, the motor is controlled at a high frequency only when started. Thus, a starting current is inhibited from being excessive. Accordingly, a drop in a battery voltage can be suppressed, and a malfunction of a control system of various pieces of electrical equipment employed in a vehicle can be inhibited.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11 |
