This heat pump is provided with a control device which controls the turning on and off of power to a heater for a first compressor, and controls whether a notification unit is to be made to issue an alarm. The control device implements control in which the notification unit is made to issue the alarm in cases when the on duration of the heater for the first compressor becomes equal to or longer than a predetermined time. As a result, provided is a heat pump which is capable of controlling the turning on of a heater, is capable of achieving a saving in power, and is also capable of detecting malfunctions in the control of the turning on of the heater. |
