A detection device for detecting a resonator that resonates with a radio wave of a prescribed frequency, the detection device being provided with an excitation coil for transmitting the radio wave of the prescribed frequency and a detection unit for detecting that the excitation coil and the resonator have come close to each other. The detection unit detects that the excitation coil and the resonator have come close to each other by detecting an absorption change of the electromagnetic energy that occurs in the excitation coil when the resonator has received the radio wave. |
