PURPOSE: A vibration preventing device restrains an outer tank from vibrating, especially vibrating forward and backward to reduce vibrating noise generated during washing and dewatering. CONSTITUTION: A damping device connects an outer tank(3) with an outer body(1) in a way that the connecting direction of the damping device is identical with the vibrating direction of forward-backward vibration of the outer tank(3) so that the forward-backward vibration of the outer tank(3) is reduced by the damping device. The damping device comprises a housing and a frictional piston. The housing has one end rotatably engaged with either of the back of the outer tank(3) or the outer body(1). The frictional piston has one end rotatably engaged with either of the back of the outer tank(3) or the outer body(1) besides where the housing is engaged and the other end engaged with the inner surface of the housing to frictionize. |
