The device has an output section (15) e.g. nut, that moves linearly in a housing. A conversion mechanism is provided in the housing for converting reversible rotational motion of an electric motor (13) into reciprocating linear motion of the output section. A pair of cables connects opposite end portions of an equalizer (16) to parking brakes, respectively. Stop members prevent the equalizer from being pivoted in both directions of pivot movement in a state. One of the stop members and the output section are integrated into one piece to be simplified in construction.
