In an electronic component transporting apparatus, an electronic component is transported by being stored in a through hole on a transporting table. The electronic component can be speedily and surely taken out from the through hole by using a compressed gas, electronic components not desirably taken out do not easily jump out due to residual pressure of the compressed air, and transporting efficiency is improved. A first plane (4c) of the transporting table (4) in a working transporting apparatus (1) is provided with a pressure relief groove (4f), which extends in a direction intersecting with the transporting direction from a position overlapping an ejection hole (11) when the transporting table (4) is rotary driven, and communicates with a suction recessed section (3b), or a pressure relief hole (g) for opening to the air.
