<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical multiplexer/demultiplexer which reduces the light incidence angle dependency of an optical filter, and to provide an optical transceiver using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The optical multiplexer/demultiplexer includes a first to third optical fibers and the optical filter 4 for demultiplexing the light emitted from the first optical fiber 1 into the transmitted light and the reflected light, which enter the second optical fiber 2 or the third optical fiber 3, or for multiplexing the light emitted from the second optical fiber 2 and the third optical fiber 3, which enters the first optical fiber 1. The optical filter 4 has a filter part 4b for demultiplexing or multiplexing light and a translucent member 4a having a refractive index larger than that of the light emission end of the first to the third optical fiber. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
