PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage image data using information relating to access to the image data stored in an image server. SOLUTION: Image data S0 captured by an imaging means 1 such as a digital camera are stored in a storage unit 21 of an image server 2. The image server 2 is accessed from an external terminal 3 such as a personal computer and a mobile phone through a network 4, thereby downloading and print-ordering the image data S0. In such a case, access related information A containing the location of the external terminal 3, an accessing person, date/time of access and the like is transmitted from the terminal to the image server 2. A control unit 22 of the image server 2 imparts the access related information A to the image server S0. On the basis of the access related information an imparted, the accessing person, the place of access, the number of times of access, and the like are recognized and the image data S0 are managed correspondingly thereto.
