PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a software component extraction support device for cutting out a software component, and having a component management mechanism allowing efficient reuse of the software component. SOLUTION: This software component extraction support device 1 for cutting out a source code of software and converting it into the component includes: a source code extraction part 10 for cutting out a code fragment by paying attention to a control structure and data input/output inside the source code; a software component creation part 11 for imparting a basic interface to the code fragment to create the software component; and a software component management part 12 for holding the software component assotciatively to a constituent factor of a structural drawing expressing a structure of the original source code and a constituent factor of a function structural drawing expressing a structure of a function.
