摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact inspection apparatus capable of measuring a flow rate in a passage with a simple structure. SOLUTION: The inspection apparatus for injecting a liquid into a microchip from a pump, reacting a reagent with a specimen, and measuring its reaction results, has a light emitting portion for irradiating a flow rate measuring section of the passage where the liquid flows from a direction perpendicular to the flow rate measuring section of the passage, a light receiving section for receiving light having transmitted through the flow rate measuring portion of the passage and generating a signal according to the quantity of the light, and a flow rate calculation means for calculating the flow rate based on the signal.
