<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a block chain unit capable of supplying lubricant easily, preventing lubricant from flowing out, reducing worker's burden in maintenance work, preventing increase of friction resistance due to dust and friction powders intruding onto a slide-contact guide face from the outside, and preventing deterioration of durability and reduction of service life. <P>SOLUTION: This block chain unit 100 has block chains 110 each provided with block-like links 120 coming into slide-contact and running with/on a guide rail 130 having the slide-contact guide face.
