PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas shield arc-welding wire, which is sound in a weld zone, which has little hot crack at a welding time, and which is excellent in creep strength and tenacity after PWHT.SOLUTION: A gas shield arc-welding wire contains C, Si, Mn, S, Cr, Mo, V, Nb and N in predetermined quantities, and is characterized in that Ni, P, Cu, Al, B and O are restricted to predetermined quantities or less, and in that the total of Mn quantity and Ni quantity contained: 0.60 to 1.15%, and that the Mn quantity/S quantity: 87 or more, the remainder being Fe and inevitable impurities.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
