PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably absorb collision energy and prevent deformation of a cabin of a vehicle even when a vehicle collides with another vehicle and a load from the other vehicle is input above a side frame of the vehicle.SOLUTION: A front structure 10 of a vehicle comprises right and left side frames 11 and a guard pipe 12. Energy absorption portions 25 are provided at front end parts 21 in front regions 14 of the side frames 11. The energy absorption portions 25, when a load of a predetermined magnitude or more is input rearward from the front end of the side frame 11, absorb collision energy by compression deformation or bending deformation at plural recesses 24. The lower ends of right and left legs 12a of the guard pipe 12 are fixed to upper surfaces of the right and left side frames 11 in front of the right and left energy absorption portions 25, respectively. The guard pipe 12 is arranged in a frame upper region 28 above the right and left side frames 11 in a front end part 5 of a vehicle 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
