PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easy and safe maintenance of internal components, in an electric vehicle having three or more wheels, an electric motor, and a battery.SOLUTION: An electric vehicle 1 includes: electric motors serving as power sources, for driving some or all of provided three or more wheels; and a battery for supplying electric power to the electric motors. The electric vehicle 1 includes: a lower unit 10 having the electric motors and the battery; and an upper unit 11 provided above the lower unit 10, for storing components. The electric vehicle has a clamshell structure where the upper unit 11 can be opened to a predetermined angle equal to or under a right angle with respect to the lower unit 10, around a hinge portion 12 provided at the lower unit 10 and the upper unit 11, on the rear side or the front side of the electric vehicle 1. Of the rear side and the front side of the electric vehicle 1, the electric motors are disposed at one side where the hinge portion 12 is not provided, and the battery is disposed at the other side where the hinge portion 12 is provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A |
