PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vending machine which has a simple configuration without using a back plate of a merchandise sample chamber and can easily and stably mount a sample holding stage, and also can improve sales promotion effect of a commodity.SOLUTION: A vending machine includes: an illumination holder 43 which is positioned in a merchandise sample chamber 4 and is mounted on a switch fitting plate 36; an illumination device 66 held in the illumination holder 43; and a translucent sample holding stage 44 which is positioned in the upper side of the illumination device and is provided in the merchandise sample chamber 4, and holds a commodity sample S. The illumination holder has an uprising side 45 which rises upward on the rear side of the switch fitting plate. The sample holding stage has an engaging piece 62 projecting from a front wall 57, and the engaging piece is mounted on the switch fitting plate by being attachably/detachably engaged therewith from the upper side, in the state where the front wall abuts on the rear face of the uprising side. |
