摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymerizable composition for an optical material, excellent in moisture absorption resistance and chemical resistance, having suppressed face deformation during long term storage, composed of a thermoplastic resin and capable of providing a thiourethane urea molded article.SOLUTION: The polymerizable composition for an optical material is provided that contains (A) bifunctional amine having two secondary amino groups, (B) bifunctional thiol having two mercapto groups and (C) bifunctional isocyanate having two isocyanate groups, the ratio ((a+b)/c) of the number of moles a of amino groups in the amine (A) and the number of moles b of mercapto groups in the thiol (B) with respect to the number of moles c of isocyanate groups in the isocyanate (C) being within the range of 0.85-1.15, and the ratio (a/c) of the number of moles a of amino groups in the amine (A) with respect to the number of moles c of isocyanate groups in the isocyanate (C) being within the range of 0.10-0.60.SELECTED DRAWING: None
