Data processing method and device. The method comprises: setting a storage attribute for each data to be stored, the storage attribute comprising a non-protected storage attribute; acquiring current data to be stored, and storing the acquired data to be stored in a hard disk storage unit of a terminal; if a preset automatic data removal condition is met, automatically removing data in the hard disk storage unit having the non-protected storage attribute. Compared to the related art, the present invention enables automatic removal of data in the terminal storage unit having the non-protected storage attribute. Therefore, not only removal of data which should not be removed can be avoided, but undesirable data can also be automatically removed, thus ensuring favorable space utilization of the disk, eliminating the need of manual operations by users, and in turn improving user experience. |
