A foil coiling system comprises: foil handling apparatus (200); foil wrapping apparatus (400); and foil coiling apparatus (300). The foil handling apparatus (200) is arranged to receive a leading end of a foil sheet (F) when expelled from a bite (103) of a foil mill and move the leading end so as to extend the foil sheet (F) over the foil coiling apparatus. The foil wrapping apparatus (400) is arranged to guide the foil sheet (F) onto the foil coiling apparatus (300), provide a wrapping end of the foil sheet (F), and wrap the foil sheet (F) around at least a portion of the foil coiling apparatus (300). The foil coiling apparatus (300) is arranged to rotate in order to coil the wrapped foil sheet (F) around the foil coiling apparatus (300). |
