A shift register, a driving method for the shift register, a gate driving circuit, and a display device. The shift register comprises a pull-up module (1), a pull-down module (2), and a holding module (3). The pull-up module (1) is connected to the holding module (3) and the pull-down module (2). An electrical connection point of the pull-up module (1) and the pull-down module (2) forms an output signal end, and the pull-up module (1) is used for pulling up a signal output by the output signal end under the act of a first clock signal. The pull-down module (2) is connected to the holding module (3), and is used for pulling down a signal output by the output signal end under the act of a second clock signal. The holding module (3) is used for stabilizing signals output by the pull-up module (1) and the pull-down module (2) at a fixed level. The shift register and the corresponding driving method for the shift register can ensure that the shift register has stable output signals and is stabler in performance. |
