Provided is a modified chemokine peptide, comprising the following amino acid sequence: (a) the N-terminal has an ELR sequence; (b) before the third cysteine residue from the N-terminal is a PASQF sequence; and (c) the 17th amino acid residue from the N-terminal is modified. The chemokine peptide can be used in treating cancers and inhibiting the growth of tumours.
