Disclosed is a high negative head air conditioner, comprising an indoor unit (1) and an outdoor unit (2) which are connected via a pipeline, the outdoor unit (2) comprising a condenser (23), and the indoor unit (1) comprising a throttling component (11); and further comprising a negative head module (3) connected between the indoor unit (1) and the outdoor unit (2), wherein the negative head module (3) comprises a liquid storage tank (31), which is connected to the indoor unit (1) and the outdoor unit (2), respectively, and is used for recycling, storing and providing a liquid refrigerant; and a refrigerant pump (32), which is connected between the liquid storage tank (31) and the indoor unit (1) and is used for providing the corresponding lift for the liquid refrigerant at the outlet of the condenser (23). The refrigerant pump in the negative head module can provide the corresponding lift for the liquid refrigerant at the outlet of the condenser, and accordingly the corresponding head can be overcome to ensure that the liquid refrigerant at the inlet of the throttling component of the indoor unit has a sufficient supercooling degree and sufficient pressure and to ensure that a refrigerating system has a sufficient refrigerant circulation amount and refrigerant reliability.
