Disclosed is a use of artepillin C and analogs thereof in the preparation of a drug for preventing and treating metabolic diseases. The present invention is the first to disclose a significant effect of artepillin C or analogs thereof in preventing and treating metabolic diseases, thus providing a multifunctional drug focusing on the regulation of CREB/CRTC2 or SREBP.
