PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device that makes it possible to eliminate incompatibility pertaining to data formats between apparatuses.SOLUTION: The information processing device capable of communicating with an apparatus has: a conversion unit (browser unit 212) for converting data of a second format and generating data of a first format processable by the apparatus; a first transmission unit (layout conversion unit 214) for transmitting the data generated by the conversion unit to the apparatus; a reception unit (operation information reception unit 215) for receiving, from the apparatus, information that indicates an operation on a screen displayed in the display unit of the apparatus, on the basis of the data transmitted by the first transmission unit; and a second transmission unit (apparatus service mediation unit 216) for transmitting, to the apparatus, an instruction to execute a process defined in the data of the second format pertaining to the operation indicated by the information received by the reception unit. The apparatus has an acquisition unit (document acquisition unit 142) for acquiring, via a network without the intervention of the information processing device, the data to be processed in a process that is executed in accordance with an instruction to execute the process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 30 |
