<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an electrode of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery capable of preventing occurrence of a stripe and occurrence of a foil exposure phenomenon, and of uniforming application thickness when the electrode of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery is manufactured by intermittently applying active material mix slurry to a strip-like collector by a die coat method. <P>SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of the electrode of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery has a process for forming a strip-like dried body by intermittently applying the active material mix slurry 19 for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery to the strip-like collector by a die coat method as shown in Fig. 2. In the manufacturing method, a decompression chamber 20 for bringing an upstream side part on the collector 11 positioned in the vicinity of a die coater 13 into a decompressed state by suction is formed, and the suction is so controlled as to be started immediately before starting the application of the active material mix slurry 19 and stopped immediately before the application completion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
