<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk apparatus capable of recording new visible information with satisfactory visibility on the label surface of an optical disk on which the other visible information is previously recorded by irradiation with a laser beam. <P>SOLUTION: The optical disk apparatus for a DVD 50 wherein the recording of electronic information and the recording/erasure of visible information are performed by using a laser beam L1 and a laser beam L2 having first/second intensity, respectively, has a laser beam intensity instructing means 17a giving an intensity instruction signal to an LPC circuit 14b so that the intensity of the laser beam L2 is made to be the first or the second intensity and is provided with a disk control part 17 performing control so that the laser beam L1 is emitted based on the electronic information to be recorded and the laser beam L2 having the first intensity is emitted when the recording of the electronic information is performed and the laser beam L1 is emitted and the laser beam L2 having the second intensity is emitted based on the visible information when the recording of the visible information is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
