<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antireflection film which has a sufficient antireflection performance and, moreover, has enhanced scuffing resistance, and also to provide a polarizing plate and an image display device equipped with the antireflection film. <P>SOLUTION: The antireflection film has a hard coat layer on a transparent support and has a low refractive index layer on the hard coat layer, wherein a haze value based on JISK-7136 before and after a scuffing resistance test falls into the range of -1.0 to 1.0%, in the scuffing resistance test in which a #0000 steel wool is reciprocated by ten times under conditions of 500 g/cm<SP>2</SP>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
