<p>Intended is to provide a circuit or system for shading a gaseous object without classifying particles. In a first aspect, there is provided a system for a storage path or for calculating an attenuation element (DZ) of a gaseous object for three-dimensional computer graphics. The system comprises: means for acquiring a sectional position (i,j) of the gaseous object; means for acquiring z-values (Z1 and Z2) relating to a sectional position; means for storing a surface depth value (ZS) relating to the sectional position; means for calculating (ZS - Z1)/(Z2 - Z1); means for comparing the surface depth value (ZS) and the two z-values, or that "ZS - Z1" are larger than 0 and that "Z2 - ZS" is larger than 0; and means for outputting 0 as DZ when Z1 is larger than ZS, (ZS - Z1)/(Z2 - Z1) as DZ when ZS is Z1 or more and smaller than Z2, and 1 as DZ when ZS is larger than Z2.</p> |
