<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driver recorder capable of reliably recognizing that a light source is lighted in the same way as viewed by human eyes when an image of the light source which looks lighted by the human eyes but actually is flashing is picked up. <P>SOLUTION: The recorder includes an image processing means 36 which is set so that a frame rate of a picked up image of an image pickup means 32 may become larger than 50fps, detects a flashing light source from among a plurality of image data picked up, measures a flashing cycle of the detected flashing light source, compares the measured flashing cycle with a preset flashing cycle threshold, extracts an image where the flashing light source is lighted from among the picked up image data to store it in a storage means 38 when it is detected that the flashing cycle of the flashing light source is shorter than the threshold, and extracts the picked up image data with prescribed extraction timing to store them in the storage means 38 when it is detected that the flashing cycle of the flashing light source is equal to or larger than the threshold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
