PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt having a long service life and reduced in friction quantity in a contact surface with a pulley, maintaining mechanical strength such as rigidity of a block. SOLUTION: This high-load transmission belt 1 is formed of a plurality of blocks provided at a predetermined pitch along the longitudinal direction of a center belt 3. The block 2 is formed of a resin composition obtained by blending a fiber reinforcing material such as a carbon fiber and an aramid fiber in a thermoplastic resin having Tg (glass transition temperature) at 100°C or more, and the thermoplastic resin of 40-90 mass% and the fiber reinforcing material of 10-60 mass% in relation to the total quantity of the resin composition are blended.
