The present invention relates to a device and a method for measuring an altitude of a terminal. More particularly, the present invention relates to a device for measuring an altitude of a terminal, which can correct an altitude error according to temporal and spatial changes, and to a method for same. To achieve the above-mentioned purpose, the device for measuring the altitude of a terminal comprises a pressure measuring unit, which measures pressure by using a barometer equipped in the terminal; a position determining unit, which measures position information on the terminal; and a control unit, which predicts current reference pressure by using the pressure received in the past when a reference pressure receiving period is not generated, and which measures a current altitude by using the predicted reference pressure and the measured pressure. |
