PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the operation of removing sheets of paper clogged in a conveyance line.SOLUTION: A paper handling device includes: a safe enclosure having a paper storage box housed therein; a processing unit provided so as to be unloaded from and loaded into the device; a conveyance part provided in the processing unit to form a conveyance line; a delivery part provided on a top plate of the safe enclosure to deliver sheets of paper between the paper storage box and the conveyance line; and a positioning part which positions the delivery part and the conveyance line so as to connect them when the processing unit is loaded into the device. By this configuration, the delivery part and the conveyance line are connected so as to allow delivery of sheets of paper without jamming when the processing unit is loaded into the device, and places where jamming of sheets of paper being conveyed occurs can be limited within the conveyance line of the processing unit. As a result, sheets of paper clogged in the conveyance line can be removed by unloading only the processing unit from the device to simplify the operation of removing the sheets of paper clogged in the conveyance line. |
