PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal type photovoltaic device capable of protecting a solar battery junction part from getting corrosion by humidity or other environmental pollutants.SOLUTION: An assembly for generating photovoltaic power includes an external assembly having at least one part for allowing a light energy to penetrate therethrough. The external assembly defines an internal volume. The external assembly can be formed from a first structural member 34 having an opening communicating to the outside environment, in which the opening can be defined by at least one marginal part. The external assembly also includes a second structural member 30 having a recess 32 corresponding to the marginal part of the opening. As above, the marginal part of the first structural member is connected to the corresponding recess of the second structural member, and the marginal part is sealed and connected to the corresponding recess. One or more photovoltaic power devices are disposed within a volume of an inner assembly. Each of such photovoltaic power devices can be operated so that it receives light and accordingly generates photovoltaic power. |
