PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress movement of a light guide plate of a liquid crystal display device as well as to prevent generation of light leakage, and to improve luminance and picture qualities of the liquid crystal display device.SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device has a double-wall structure in a side wall of a main frame and includes an elastic stopper provided in a part of the side wall. By the above configuration, a narrow bezel is achieved, which suppresses deformation of a main frame. Thereby, movement of a light guide plate due to deformation of the main frame can be suppressed, and the luminance and picture qualities of the liquid crystal display device can be improved. Since no guide groove is required to be separately formed in four edges of the light guide plate, leakage of light by a guide groove can be prevented. This configuration can prevent a problem of degradation in the picture qualities caused by damages in a plurality of LEDs in an LED assembly or changes in the optical characteristics of the liquid crystal display device. |
