PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high output and high efficiency permanent magnet electric motor by increasing magnet area without increasing the number of permanent magnets used on a rotator at a low cost for processing the permanent magnet.SOLUTION: A permanent magnet electric motor 30 has a rotator 10 which has 6 or more magnetic poles, with a stator core which is constituted of plural steel plates laminated into a cylindrical shape in which magnet embed holes 12a to 12f are formed for embedding permanent magnets 13a to 13f, and plate-like permanent magnets 13a to 13f are embedded therein. Each of the permanent magnets 13a to 13f embedded in the magnet embed holes 12a to 12f, which are formed for each magnetic pole, is disposed with one end oriented to the outer periphery of the rotator 10 and the other end oriented to the side face of the permanent magnets 13a to 13f at the rotation axis 14 side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
