PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lead battery in which the proper fixing between a bolt terminal and a crimping terminal can be surely maintained over a long term.SOLUTION: A lead battery comprises a lid body 4 for blocking a housing in which plural electrode plates are mounted, a terminal seat 21 housed in a housing portion 20 formed in the lid bod 4, a strap 14 for integrating the plural electrode plates, an electrode pole 16 which extends upwards from the strap 14 and is connected to the lower surface 21b of the terminal seat 21, thermosetting resin 22 which is filled in the housing portion 20 to seal the terminal seat 21 and the electrode pole 16, and a bolt terminal 30 having a heat portion 31 embedded in the terminal seat 21 and a shaft portion 32 projecting from the upper surface 21a of the terminal seat 21, the outer peripheral surface of the shaft portion 32 being threaded. The upper surface 33 of the head portion 31 to which the shaft portion 32 is linked is located at the same position as or at a higher position than the upper surface 21a of the terminal seat 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
