PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device that can change feed speed of a medium at the time when a non-recording area passes through a recording portion depending on applications.SOLUTION: The recording device comprises: a feeding portion that feeds a transfer sheet of paper 100; a recording portion 5 that performs recording by applying ink to the transfer sheet of paper 100; a drying portion 6 that is provided at a further downstream side in a feeding direction of the transfer sheet of paper 100 than the recording portion 5 and promotes drying of the transfer sheet of paper 100 to which the ink is applied; and an operation portion that receives speed selection operation for selecting feed speed of the transfer sheet of paper 100 at the time when a non-recording area 40b, on which recording is not performed by the recording portion 5, of the transfer sheet of paper 100 passes through the recording portion 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
