PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which does not generate a secondary burr during chamfering.SOLUTION: A grinding circumferential surface 7 of a grindstone wheel 5 during rotating is brought into contact with an edge ridge line part 10 of an end edge part 6 of a plate-like work-piece W so that a grinding direction at a contact point between the grinding circumferential surface 7 and the edge ridge line part 10 is so made as to be coincident with a direction of the edge ridge line part 10, and thus grinding and chamfering are performed. Further, in the case that an endless grinding belt is suspended on plural rotary wheels and traveled, and one of the rotary wheels is pressed onto the edge ridge line part 10 of the end edge part 6 of the plate-like work-piece W as a work-piece pressing wheel thereby grinding, the grinding direction at the point of contact with the edge ridge line part 10 is similarly so made as to be coincident with the direction of the edge ridge line part 10, and thus, grinding and chamfering are performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
